A year-long project recording the myriad ways precipitation beads and sheets on windows and the impressionistic or abstract views it creates of the natural and urban landscape beyond. Having grown up in the wet forests and coastal regions of Oregon and Washington - where water hangs in the air, falls for days on end and runs deep in rivers that flow to the massive Pacific Ocean - water has become an exotic fascination the longer I live in the arid high desert. As it rains infrequently and for short periods of time in Santa Fe, these are photos of opportunity depending on where I was when it was raining or snowing.
